I have utilized Affinity Photo to design custom thumbnails that accurately represent a curated selection of maps in a themed playlist.
The FCG was the first to introduce this feature to the gaming community, as there were no other quick and simple methods to locate and distribute collections of maps.
Discord serves as the primary platform for compiling all this information in the format of Discord Forums.
This represented a revolutionary upgrade within the Forza community; nothing like it had ever been designed before.
A one-stop location was created where players could use a search bar, tags, or gamertag to find an event. Each event had its own topic thread, so clicking on an individual event would bring up more information, images, and more!
Before the FCG introduced this unique library layout, it was just a text chat style where conversations quickly pushed events off the page.
This library format was subsequently adopted by the Official Forza Discord and AR12 Gaming.
Constructed from the Mee6 Bot, now known as FCG Assistant, I've utilized custom commands such as !map, typically reserved for straightforward tasks like answering queries, to create a map repository akin to the EventLab Library. This setup allows the bot to choose from a curated list of events, ensuring that only top-quality maps are presented to the user, simplifying their experience.
